The wide outline and ample volume distribution enable high paddling speed and quick entry. The acceleration created by the flat to low rocker design and hull bottom is extremely smooth, and the design allows you to extract maximum speed with lines that are primarily trim-based using the rails. Even though it's wide, there is little catching during rail work, and turns feel more like "flowing" than "turning". This is the perfect board for downsizing from a longboard, or for flow-oriented surfing in light to medium waves.
